Teal is a prom and wedding-party colour that most rental racks do not carry. It reads blue in daylight and green under warm indoor light, which is why it photographs as a distinct colour in a line-up of navy jackets rather than disappearing into them.
What you get. A two-piece: jacket and matching trousers in the same cloth, at $249.99 for the pair.
Fabric. 51% viscose, 42% polyamide, 7% elastane. The viscose gives it a soft, matte finish instead of a sheen; the elastane is what lets you drive, reach across a table and sit through a long evening without the jacket setting into creases.
Fit and sizing. Cut slim through the chest and waist, in Short, Regular and Long so sleeve and body length match your height rather than only your chest. Regular runs 34 to 52, Short 34 to 46 and Long 38 to 52.
Care. Professional dry clean. Not machine washable.
Wears with. A Flex Tailor Stretch Dress Shirt in white for contrast, or black for a tonal evening look. Teal takes a plain shirt better than a patterned one.
